Programme for the day   
      

 
Instructions for Registration for Convocation:

 Time  :  08.30 am  - 11.30 am.

 Venue :  Emmanuel Auditorium

          1.   Registration starts at 08.30 am.

2.   Distribution of lunch coupon, souvenir, badge (with allotted seat number) and entry passes from the officer.

3.   No graduand will be allowed inside the auditorium without badge and Entry Pass.

4.    Registration counters will be closed by 11.30 am.


Instructions for Lunch:

 Time  :  11.30 am  - 12.45 pm.

Venue:     JMR Mess dining hall

          1.     Lunch will be served in various counters on submission of lunch coupons.

2.      Proceed to convocation venue as soon as the lunch is over.

3. Lunch counters will be closed at 12.45 PM.


Instructions for Robe Distribution:

 Time  :  8.30 am  - 11.30 am.

 Venue :  Emmanuel Auditorium

            1.      Graduands should come in proper dress code:

Gents  :   Full sleeves shirts, tucked in with shoes and tie.
Ladies :  Sarees / Churidar / Salwar

2.      Show the badge (with seat number) to the officer and pay Rs.500/- as deposit for robe.

3.      Wear the robe properly and occupy the seat as per the seat number.

4.      Robe distribution will be stopped at 11.30 am.

5.   Guests can enter into the Bro. D.G.S Dhinakaran Centre after submitting their guest passes.

6.  After the Convocation, Kindly handover the robe and the badge to get the deposit amount.

 

Instructions for the Convocation Ceremony:

 Time  :  01.30 pm  - 5.30 pm.

 Venue :  Bro. D.G.S Dhinakaran Centre

            1.      As it is a solemn occasion please maintain silence throughout the function.

2.      Seating in the graduands area will be stopped by 1.30 pm.  No graduand will be allowed after 1.30 pm.

3    Mobile Phones are not allowed inside the graduands area .

4.      While proceeding towards the stage, graduands are requested to go in line as per their seat number.

5.   After the Ceremony the graduates can take photographs with the Chancellor.

6.      During the Procession of Dignitaries � both arrival and return, Institutional Anthem & Prayer, Oath taking agenda and National Anthem all the graduands shall remain standing.

7.   Any discrepancies in the degree certificates should be verified by the graduands immediately after having seated in the respective seat and the same shall be cleared after ceremony.

8.  Photography is strictly prohibited during the Convocation Ceremony.  Official photographer has been arranged.

Instructions for Tea & Snacks:

 Time  :  5.30 pm.

Venue:    Bro. D.G.S Dhinakaran Centre

1.    Tea & Snacks are arranged for all the graduands after the ceremony 

2.   Graduands are expected to maintain discipline throughout the programme.

          3.      Graduands are expected to follow queue for all events during the programme.
