Transcript


Transcripts shall be issued in two types:

Type: 1

Photocopies of the certificates will be attested by the COE as Transcripts and put inside the cover, sealed and signed.

Requirements:

*Candidates should bring required photocopies of the certificates and  covers.

*They must produce the original certificates for verification

*The application should be forwarded by the HOD/Director and submitted to the Controller of     Examinations.

*Fee receipt for the amount @ Rs.300/- per set shall be attached with the application.

Type: 2

The details are printed and signed by the COE and put inside the cover, sealed and signed.

Requirements:

*A written application shall be submitted along with a fee receipt / DD for an amount @ Rs.200/- per set to The Controller of Examinations.

*To get through post / courier an amount of Rs.50/- shall be added for postage.

*DD shall be taken favouring "The Registrar, Karunya University" payable at 'Coimbatore'.

 

Migration Certificate


(Migration certificates will be issued only for the students joined from 2004)

To obtain  Migration Certificate the following documents shall be submitted in the COE Office :

    1.   Application Form (Download Application for Migration Certificate)
    2.   Copy of the T.C. issued from Karunya University 
    3.   University Cash Receipt / DD for an amount of Rs.300/- favouring 'The Registrar, Karunya University', payable at 'Coimbatore'. To get through post / courier an amount of Rs.50/- shall be added for postage.

Education Verification


 

        The agencies, which are assigned the job of verifying the educational qualifications of former students of this University who opt for higher studies/ employment may

    login  in  the  website  http://www.karunyauniversity.directverify.in/hiw/index.html and  apply  for  online  verification by paying Rs.800/- + VAT  as fee for verification through Net  Banking.

Revaluation


    The students are entitled the following within a reasonable time limit, to keep the evaluation system above board: 

 

               * There will be only single valuation for Level I & II & III subjects. Hence students are entitled for Xerox copies of the answer scripts, if the students are not satisfied with the marks allotted, they can apply for revaluation.

               * A simple averaged mark will be taken as the mark obtained for the two valuations for pass & pass or fail & fail. However for pass & fail, there will be a third valuation and the marks corresponding to two similar results will be averaged.

               * Hence the passed students seeking revaluation should give an undertaking that they will accept whatever is the revised Grade.

Supplementary Examinations


    Supplementary Examinations will be conducted after the publication of results once in a year during the even semester.  No supplementary exam will be conducted for Practical / Projects.  Supplementary exam will be considered as an attempt.

Improvement Examination


    The passing out students with second class having CGPA from 5.95 to 5.98 shall be allowed to rewrite examinations for improving grades (in passed subjects) to enable them to get higher classification with the following conditions.

              #  He can improve grades from final Semester onwards

              #  He can appear for Improvement examinations in two attempts after final semester         

              #  Subjects for a maximum of 12 credits can be allowed for Improvement examinations.

              #  If the grade decrease, the improvement examinations grades can be cancelled and the original grade shall

               be  retained
