12.00 am - 1.00 pm Lunch
Venue   :   Immanuel Auditorium
1.30 pm Graduates entry into the auditorium will be stopped
2.00 pm Convocation ceremony
  Distribution of Motorised Tricycles to physically challenged
4.30 p.m. High Tea

  Academic Procession  
  University Anthem & Opening Prayer  
  Opening of Convocation by Chancellor  
  Annual Report by VC  
  Chief Guest Address  
  Conferment of Honorary Degrees  
  Presentation of Medals & Degrees:
  • Chancellor will distribute degree certificates individually to all the graduates
 
  Graduate Pledge  
  Word of Blessing by Chancellor  
  Dissolution of Convocation  
  National Anthem  
  Distribution of motorised tricycles to the physically challenged  
  Procession Return  


Instructions for the Day:

Graduates should come with their ID Cards.

Government Transport facility (Special Buses) will be provided as detailed below:

 » Gandhipuram      -  5.00 a.m . to   8.00 a.m.
        

Return Trip

 » From Karunya    -  5.30 p.m . to   7.30 p.m.

 

Accommodatiion  :   Boys   -    Angelina Residence

Instructions for Registration for Convocation:

 

Venue :  Ebenezer Auditorium

 

1.      Counter will open upto 12.30 pm.

2.   Receive your lunch coupon, souvenir and badge (with your seat number) , Entry Passes from the officer.

3.   No graduates will be allowed inside the auditorium without badge & Entry Pass.

4.    Registration counters will be closed by 1.00 pm.

Instructions for Robe Distribution:

 

Venue :  Ebenezer Auditorium

 

1.      Graduates should come in proper dress code:

Gents  :   Full sleeves shirts, tucked in with shoes and ties.
Ladies :  Sarees

2.      Show your badge (with seat number) to the officer and pay Rs.200/- as deposit for robe.

3.      Wear the robe properly and occupy the seat as per your seat number.

4.      Robe distribution will be stopped at 1.30 pm.

Instructions for the Convocation Ceremony:

 

Venue :  New Auditorium

 

1.      As it is a solemn occasion please keep silence throughout the function.

2.      Seating in the graduates area will be stopped by 1.30 pm.  No graduates will be allowed after 1.30 pm.

3.      Mobile Phones are not allowed inside the auditorium.

4.      Our Hon'ble Chanceller will distribute certificates individually to all the graduates.  While proceeding towards the stage, graduates are requested to go in line as per their seat number.

5.      During the Procession of Dignitaries – both arrival and return, University Anthem & Prayer, Oath taking agenda and National Anthem all the participants shall remain standing.

6.      Verify your degree certificates.

 7.   After convocation ceremony remain in your seats for Motorised Tricycle distribution function.

7.   Photography is strictly prohibited during the Convocation Ceremony.

 


Instructions for Lunch:

 

Time  :  12.00  - 1.00 p.m.

 

Venue:     Immanuel Auditorium

 

1.     Give the lunch coupon in the counter and get the food.

2.      Immediately after lunch proceed to convocation venue.


Instructions for High Tea:

 

Time  :  4.30 p.m.

 

Venue:    New Auditorium

 

1.     Graduates are expected to maintain discipline throughout the programme.

2.      Follow queue for all events during the programme.
